The course teaches the basics of Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography (TCD) principles. The most common intracranial "windows" are diagramed. The steps of a typical TCD examination are outlined with TCD waveforms shown for each artery. Typical and abnormal intracranial hemodynamics and TCD findings are explained as well as their relation to various pathological conditions.
